Our First Christmas Tree

Our first tree is nothing to brag about, but it is still our first tree. It cost a whole $1 the day after Christmas last year, the lights and ornaments are my parent’s old decorations (except for two very special ornaments that were made for us for our wedding), and there is no angel at the moment. We realized after putting it up we had no tree skirt, so I got out my beautiful tablecloth from India to use as the skirt. I didn’t want to cut a hole in it, so I put a matching pillowcase around the base of the tree. All in all, it turned out pretty good…at least we like it :).
