YEAH!
The professional pictures are finally up. We have put a link on the blog under “Wedding Pictures” of both these pictures and the pictures from the disposable cameras. There is also a slide show right above the links that has wedding pictures on it. You can download the pictures from the sites (I think). Otherwise, talk to us and let us know if you want to have some copies and we can give them to you once we get our official CD with the proofs.
No pictures of the apartment yet, but they will be up soon…I promise 🙂
Classes are going well so far. We are about a 20 minute walk from campus, which is nice when the weather is good, but terrible when it is windy and cold. Luckily there is a bus that drives right by our place and we are able to hop on that.
I taught my first class on Tuesday and it went really well…let’s hope the students are okay with listening to someone their own age (or younger!). My other classes include Biostatistical Analysis, Research Methods and Micronutrients – while they might not sound too interesting, I think I will enjoy them for the most part (even if they will be a ton of work).
Jason’s classes are going well, also. Luckily the gen ed teachers understand that they are not all wanting to be art history or us history majors so the course work seems like it will be manageable. He thinks he will enjoy his physics class – there will be a lesson nuclear terrorism later in the semester and Jason is really excited for that. His statistics class also does not sound too bad, yet. Maybe he will be able to teach me a few things for my biostats class ;).
We are both happy with where we are living, except for a super annoying squeak in the ceiling, which I think I may have already written about…if not and you really want to know, send me an email and I will give you plenty of information. If they fix the ceiling we think we might just stay here for the next 2 years so we won’t have to deal with moving or commuting to campus.
That is about all for now. This weekend we have a 3 day weekend so I am hoping to get some pictures up of the apartment.
Lynn, I am so glad that everything is going so well for you! Congrats!
