Over the past month we have been working hard to replace all of the doors and trim in the house. Taking the doors out was a little bit of an adventure, but after the first one was out J got the hang of it and the rest were out shortly after. Same thing with installing the new doors – the first one isn’t quite square despite us both working on it, but by the end J was able to install it square by himself (maybe I was the problem with the first one, haha).
We purchased primed doors we had to paint white and unfinished oak trim we had to stain with walnut trim (2 coats each). I did most of the staining and painting while J was responsible for cutting and nailing. As you can see from my last door/trim post, the end product is pretty sharp.
