Waste Not: Freeze First, Eat Second

The Kitchn posted a super useful article on freezing food. The top complaints I get from people about eating healthy are:

1. Healthy food is too expensive
2. When they buy healthy food it goes bad before they can eat it all.

My responses are:
1. Meal plan so you don’t buy too much
2. Freeze food before it goes bad so you can use it in the future. This saves you time and money because you don’t need to run to the store to pick it up in the future. Plus, if you quickly prep the food before you freeze it (i.e. slice the peppers) you save yourself the work when you are rushing to throw together a Tuesday night dinner.
