A recent study confirmed something I had learned years ago – coffee stimulates brown fat to burn more calories. Brown fat is a special kind of fat that keeps us warm by creating energy and heat.
While I’m not advocating you go and drink 20 cups of coffee to get slim, you are at least feel a little better about that cup you drink every day. And remember, if you add milk, cream, and sugar to your coffee it’s probably going to add more calories than are burned by the black cup of coffee in the study. Enjoy in moderation 🙂
